Yugaantar

The Modern School, ECNCR participated in ‘Yugaantar’ – a cultural fest, held at Heritage School, Rohini on December 19, 2017.

In the category of art, the students participated in Kumbhkala Competition. The theme of the Competition was ‘Mughal Era’ and the students were asked to paint earthen pots, depicting the rich culture and heritage of Mughal era. The students painted various Mughal motifs designs and patterns on a black base. They used peacock for royal signature, ornaments and dancing figures to showcase Mughal era.

The objective of the competition was to instill curiosity for the rich historical and cultural heritage of Mughal era among the students of the present generation. The events were organized in such a way that the participants could experience various competitions and events which were the interplay of the following eras:

  • Vedic Era
  • Golden Age
  • Mughal Era
  • British Raj and the
  • 4th Industrial Revolution

In the category of Theatre and Literature, Suvanshi Bhatia of class S4 and Rajyvardhan Goel of class S3 participated and bagged the second position in the competition ‘Poesis’. Rudraksh Joshi, Rudransh and Ritesh of class S3 and Kirat of class S1 participated in Mortar and Tinkering competition held in the category of Science and technology on December 20, 2017. The Model Making activity was a great learning experience for the students who got in touch with the eras from Vedic to 4th industrial revolution on a common platform and gained the quint essential knowledge about the same.
