The Interact Club of The Modern School ECNCR organised a visit to SOS village located in Bawana for the students of classes S1, S2 on October 5, 2018. SOS is an independent, nongovernmental organization that works for the holistic development of parentless and homeless kids. The students of classes S1 and S2 along with their teachers visited the village. The objective of this visit was to inculcate in the students, the spirit to serve humanity and create and appreciate equal opportunities for all.

The students were briefed by the office staff about SOS village. They were told about the need and significance of establishment of these villages. They were also familiarized with the history of the organisation.

After the session, the students visited the premises and the houses of the inmates staying there. They also got the distinguished opportunity to interact at length with the inmates.
It was an enriching experience for the students and they learned one more way to serve humanity. They also came to terms with the fact that some of the inmates were brilliant and all were talented .They all had dreams and it was every ones social responsibility to ensure that they were realized. Resolving to work for them ,raise awareness, shoulder responsibility and strive to help provide them a platform to flourish ,the students bid them goodbyes.
