Visit To Prandhanmantri Sangrahalaya
Political Science students of class S7 visited the newly constructed Prime Minister’s Museum or The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya on November 26, 2022.
The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya – inaugurated by the current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in April 2022 – is a tribute to every Prime Minister since independence and a narrative record of how each one of them contributed to the development of our nation over the last 75 years.
The students witnessed the history of collective effort, and powerful evidence of the creative success of India’s democracy. Our Prime Ministers came from every class and tier of society and left important footprints on the journey of development, social harmony and economic empowerment that has enabled India to give a true meaning to freedom.
The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya has employed technology-based interfaces to encompass heterogeneity in content and frequent rotation of display. Holograms, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Multi-touch, Multimedia, interactive kiosks, computerized kinetic sculptures, smartphone applications, interactive screens, experiential installations etc. enable the exhibition content to become highly interactive which left the students in complete awe of the place.
The students also appreciated the significance of the date as November 26 is celebrated as the Constitution Day in India and through the museum celebrated the significance and importance of our constitutional structure.
