Educational trips are an integral part of the curriculum in The Modern School, ECNCR. Such trips provide the opportunities for experiential learning to the students. On October 28, 2017, students of class S1 visited Parle G Factory, Bahadurgarh. Parle Products is India’s largest manufacturer of biscuits & confectionary from the past 80 years. The name symbolizes nutrition quality and good taste. Established in 1939, it has around 1200 workers working in the factory. In the initial segment of the visit, a documentary related to the history of the company was shown to the students followed by the plant visit.
The students witnessed different steps involved in making and packaging of biscuits. They students in particular learned about the various hygiene, sanitation and quality maintenance techniques followed by the factory during manufacturing of products. It was an informative trip and a great learning experience for the students.
