Students of The Interact Club of The Modern School ECNCR organized a visit to the orphanage for students of class P4C and P4D . They were fortunate to get an opportunity to visit an orphanage named SOS Children's Village on July 27, 2019. Their heartwarming welcome made the students feel special. There were around 16 home set ups having 10 children with a care-taker and a woman in charge in each home.

The age group of the children staying there ranged from 5 years to 14 years. The students got the chance to meet some inmates and interact with them. They had taken cakes, books, chocolates, pens, etc.which they enthusiastically offered to the students. As the students were inquisitive they asked questions related to the inmates stay at the children's home. It was heartwarming to witness the ease with which the students   befriended them and spent quality time interacting, playing and performing with them.

 It was a wonderful learning experience for all the students. The memories would be cherished for their life time .The visit impacted the students, who took a pledge to work for the uplifment of that section of the society,with rigour in the future.
