The Interact Club of The Modern School, ECNCR undertakes community-based projects to help the underprivileged, the old and infirm. The young members thus get an opportunity to participate in meaningful service projects and work together for the betterment of society. They develop leadership skills, personal integrity; learn to be more responsible and empathetic.

The Interactors raised funds by selling medicinal plants to provide stationery items to Agape Foundation, an NGO working for the upliftment of street children. Four representatives from The Interact Club handed over the items to the children on April 11, 2019, and also spent quality time with them guiding them regarding personal hygiene. They sang and danced with the children teaching them basic dance steps and also played various games. The children showed their gratitude by presenting the Interactors with hand - made greeting cards.

It was an overwhelming experience for the students as they empathized with the children and realized the fact that helping others gives profound happiness which no other work can.
