On November 26, 2020, the students of class S3 from The Modern School, ECNCR virtually visited the Ice- Cream Factory of Amul. Amul, a dairy cooperative society, is based at Anand in the state of Gujarat. Formed in 1946, it is a cooperative brand managed by a cooperative body, the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd., which today is jointly owned by 36 lakh milk producers in Gujarat.

The history of the Amul factory was explained at length along with a detailed study of the present standing of Amul by touching upon the various products produced by Amul. The students were apprised with the four P’s of Amul, positioning, repositioning, and segmentation.

A detailed video of the production of Amul ice cream at their food factory that showcased the complete process of collection of raw material to their processing and ultimately the final product was watched with wonder and delight by all the students.

It was a great experience for all and made everyone crave ice cream even more.
