The Modern School, ECNCR organised a virtual visit to the ‘Religious places of India’ for the students of class P4 on September 26, 2020.The students learned the importance of religious places in their life. Educational excursion to these places not only enhanced the knowledge of the students but also broaden their outlook towards the outside world. They were acquainted with a lot of information about Golden temple, Brahma temple, Ajmer Sharif, Basilica of Bom Jesus Goa, Kedarnath and many more. They explored different places of worship of different religions and cultures.

The students also shared their experiences about personal peace and comfort during the visit and described these places as the places to pray and experience the presence of God. The visit to varied religious places showed children that all religions give the same message, the message of love and concept of faith, prayers and belief. The wealth of knowledge left by the ancient seers who founded these religions, be it Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam or Christianity was also shared with them. The activity of virtual tour to the religious places gave students the basic understanding of secular existence in Incredible India. The students enjoyed the tour with great enthusiasm and spirit. The visit was fruitful and enriching.
