Understanding and Managing Aggression Workshop for Class S1 & S2
A two-day workshop on 'Understanding and Managing Aggression' was conducted on 20 and 22 August 2025 for classes S1 and S2 by the school counsellor, Ms. Anita. The sessions aimed at helping students understand the science behind aggression, identify common triggers such as peer pressure, academic stress, family conflicts, and social media influence, and adopt healthy coping strategies like assertiveness, pausing, and EFT tapping. Through engaging activities such as the 'Anger Freeze' game, Brain Call-Outs, the Impulse Control Challenge, the Anger Volcano exercise, and calming techniques with positive affirmations, students actively participated and reflected on their own experiences. The workshop created a safe and interactive environment, enhancing self-awareness and equipping students with practical tools to transform aggression into confidence, resilience, and positive action.
