An educational trip to the Pink City  of India-  Jaipur was organised for class P5 on November 26 and November 27, 2022. Its vibrant culture and heritage  has always fascinated millions of people. The students were given an opportunity to experience and learn about the history and culture of Jaipur through this trip.

The trip enriched the students as they explored the city and visited palaces. The most famous palace turned into a museum now, The City Palace had them in awe of the place as the guide informed them about the importance of the place; the way kings and queens lived, the architecture of the palace, utensils and weapons used, food they ate and clothes they wore. The most attractive part was the puppet show in the vicinity of the palace that grabbed the attention of the students.Next was the visit to a block printing factory where the students have had hands on experience as they  printed their own handkerchief using different blocks and colours.

 
Thereafter, they visited a paper factory where the students got to know how paper is recycled, pressed and printed. Finally, the students purchased different kinds of boxes, lamp shades, envelopes, wrapping papers and diaries etc. They grooved and enjoyed  the DJ party organised at the hotel. City night tour was an unforgettable experience for all of them. Second day visit included Jal Mahal and Amer Fort where again the guide acquainted the students with the beauty, architecture and significance of the fort.

The trip was not only filled with fun and frolic but  was  informative and enriching.
