The Modern School, ECNCR organized a night camp at Bharatpur – Bird Sanctuary for the students of class P3 from March 16 to March 17, 2018.

Bharatpur is the home to one of the world’s best known bird watching destinations-Keoladeo National Park. The bird sanctuary available in abundance, greeted the group warmly right from the main gate. The tranquillity and serenity of the sanctuary engulfed the minds and souls of the young modernites. The aura of the sanctuary took them to a completely different world with the melodious sounds of the magnificent birds, that sounded as if they were telling stories to each other, singing songs and sharing jokes. Students observed a variety of birds guided by the well trained rickshaw pullers, having an impressive knowledge of various species of the birds both inland and migratory.

The memories of this trip would always remain etched in the hearts of the students as it was not just filled with fun but also helped them to explore the humble abode of wild and wood.
