An excursion to the Traffic Training Park, Punjabi Bagh was organised for class KG on August 19, 2023. 
The objective of the excursion was to reinforce the curriculum with a first-hand experience for the young ones. The students were heartily welcomed; the representative guided the students through several commonly seen road signs and symbols and explained the necessity of traffic signals in the first place. Live demonstration accompanied by flash cards activity was taken up for better understanding of the road signs. The replica of main roads, a zebra crossing, a pedestrian subway, a foot-over bridge and a footpath were there to enable the students to visualise the real-time setting. Students spontaneously answered to questions asked. The guides allowed the students to take a bus tour of the park keeping in mind how to board it in a desired way; and precautions to be taken once inside a bus. 
The young modernites carried back home a message on road safety and the importance of following the safety rules. It was an enriching hands on learning experience to reinforce the curriculum.
