Storytelling is a universal and traditional art form that has featured strongly in Indian culture as an effective communication and teaching tool. It is often used as a medium to ingrain values, improve reading skills and open the minds of students to a world beyond imagination. The Modern School, ECNCR organized a Story Telling Session for the students from classes P2 to P5 on December 4, 2020.

The resource person, Ms. Rohini Vij engaged the students throughout the session with different physical activities. The appropriate use of voice modulation and body language infused passion, enhanced imagination and expression as well as introduced children to new horizons of storytelling. It was an interactive session wherein the children were taught the right way of telling the stories. The students enjoyed the story narrated with vivid gestures and facial expressions. The session was indeed valuable and distinct.
