The Pre-primary wing of the school  celebrated its sports day on November 18,   2022 with great elation and enthusiasm. It was a day full of activities and fun as the effervescent kids geared up for the glorious event of the session. Ms. Rimpy Verma, Headmistress, The Modern School, ECNCR welcomed the esteemed guests, parents and grandparents. She emphasised on the importance of sports in a child’s life. The Chief Guest, Mr. Rajneesh Kataria, an alumni of Modern School, Barakhamba Road highlighted the importance of  values taught in school.

Mr. Tijay Gupta, co -founder and COO at Bachpan Play School & Academics Heights group of school graced the occasion as a special guest.

The sports meet was declared open by the chief guest,  marking the commencement of the event. The colourful balloons mirrored the joy and mirth of the young sportspersons. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Priyanka Kharbanda, Headmistress, Modern Early Years, Deepali. Thereafter, the day unfurled many splendid sports events and drills. The students of Nursery and K.G. of Deepali branch showcased exemplary drills with deft movements. The spirited presentations of taekwondo, skating and hoola hoop exhibited by Nursery and K.G. students of Kundli, left the audiences enthralled with their co-ordination and formations. The little ones mesmerised the audience with their well co-ordinated and energetic performances. The proud parents constantly applauded as the vivacious students competed in races. 

The event culminated with the races of the thrilled parents and grandparents.The jubilance and grandeur of the event left an indelible mark on the participants and audience.
