‘To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.’

The students of Shiwalik House from classes P3- S7 celebrated Christmas with great zeal and fervour on December 24, 2020 through a virtual platform.

The assembly commenced with an elucidative PowerPoint Presentation on the significance of this day. Talk and Thought of the Day focused on the value of love, kindness, humanity and peace. Special performances like Jingle Bells on harmonium, mesmerizing dances on joyful Christmas songs, singing of melodious carols and a splendid presentation by the young modernites emphasized the importance of sharing, caring and love. The fragrance of beautiful wreaths and sumptuous snacks, the mirthful tinkling of laughter of children and their exuberant sharing spirit of celebrating the day with their teachers and classmates made the day sparkle even more.

The message of spreading peace, hope, love and joy during this festival was also shared with all the students.
