The Modern School ECNCR celebrated the festival ‘Holi’ on March 1, 2018 with great elation and exuberance. The students of classes Nursery to P3 showcased a special assembly on the festival. Priyanshi of class P1D gave a musical treat to everyone’s ears by singing a melodious song. Thereafter the students presented a nukkadnatak which encouraged everyone to save water and celebrate dry holi. It was followed by a play which depicted Holika Dehan and the reason for playing holi with colours. The little bundles of the joy pre-primary wing presented a song on holi. The assembly was concluded with a dance performance by all the students of class P1 D on the song “Holi ke Din”. The students performed exceptionally well and won all the hearts. The school Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana, addressed the gathering and motivated everyone to celebrate dry holi. The school Headmistress, Ms. Rimpy Verma, praised the students for their wonderful performance and wished all the children a very happy and safe Holi. The assembly came to an end with the beaming colourful and happy faces of the students, overjoyed with the celebrations of the day.
