The students of The Modern School, ECNCR from classes P1-P5 conducted their virtual morning assembly on ‘Winter Season’ on December 4, 2020. It commenced with a short PowerPoint presentation on Winter Season where the teachers discussed the duration of the season, the fruits and vegetables that one could relish during the season and how one could protect oneself in the extremely cold weather of the season. The Morning Prayer ‘Vandana ke in Sharon main…’ was sung by Ms. Pranamika Goswami. The news and weather report were presented by Mehransh Saini of class P3C, Yuvaan Gupta of class P1 C and Jinisha Gadi of class P1 C. ‘Thought of the Day’ was presented by Vivaan Malhotra of class P5 C, Ayaan Goyal of class P5 C and Vachi Jain of class P2 B , wherein they expressed that winter is the time for comfort and warmth. A talk on ‘Winter Season’ was presented by Garvit Mundra of class P5B and Aisha Jain of class P2 C. The blue modernites, Leeya Sharma of class P5C, Shivangi Choudhary of class P5D, and Dea Sharma of class P2 C recited poems on Winter season using props. Through this virtual assembly on Winter Season, students learned about the various aspects of the season in a fun-filled manner.
