The Modern School, ECNCR organized an Inter House Science Quiz for classes P4-S3 on February 13, 2019 in the school premises. Students of all the four houses of the school namely Himalaya House, Himachal House, Vindhyachal House and Shiwalik House participated in the quiz.

The competition comprised of three rounds namely visual, buzzer and rapid fire. Every round of the quiz was a mixed bag, with questions ranging from the oldest to the latest contributions of scientists, history of Science, plants, animals etc. It was heart-warming to see the children brimming with enthusiasm and exuberance as they vied with the others to answer questions that required explanation and reasoning.The cheers from the audience added to the excitement in the atmosphere. The quiz ended with the declaration of the results.

In the P4-P5 category, Shiwalik house bagged the first position followed by Himachal house in the second position and Himalaya house in the third. In the S1-S3 category, Himachal house bagged the first position followed by Vidhyanchal house in the second position and Himalaya house in the third. All the students enjoyed the quiz thoroughly and found it a great learning experience.
