Satellite Making competition

On the historic occasion of the 50th anniversary of the launch of Aryabhata, India’s first satellite, four students from Class S5 — Himanshu Jai Bansal, Garvit Mundra, Annan Singhal, and Kartik Dalal — participated in a satellite-making competition held at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi on 19 April, 2025.

 

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including former ISRO Chairman Shri S. Somnath, Space Technology Strategist Dr. Deb Jyoti Pal, and Dr. Srijan Pal Singh, scientist and former associate of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

 

The students presented their interplanetary satellite model, ‘GYAANYAAN’, which was met with praise and appreciation from the guests for its innovation and creativity. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the students to interact with such eminent personalities and draw inspiration for their future endeavours.

 

The event concluded with an inspiring address by Dr. S. Somnath, who spoke about the wonders of space science and how young minds can play a vital role in shaping the future of space exploration.
