As part of Modern School Centenary celebrations, team Sau Saal Sau Salaam launched the Sau Saal Sau Salaam walk series on December 15, 2019, at Modern School, Barakhamba.

The first walk of the series, Modern Centenary Landmark Walk was led by Ms. Beeba Sobti, a celebrated historian and respected history teacher at Modern School, Barakhamba.

This landmark walk transported one and all to the bygone era, a treasure trove of memories, helped in exploring as well as understanding our legacy sprinkled with interesting nuggets of information about the evolution of the campus and the Alma Mater.

Ms. Sobti brought alive the history of the campus with facts and humour. She ignited a spirit of pride and belongingness among the participants. The philosophical meaning of each and every part of the logo of the school was explained in detail. It was an immersive experience consisting of a walk around the campus followed by high tea and a vote of thanks.

The momentous occasion was a great opportunity for the staff members and alumni of the school to know more about the parent body.
