11 students and 2 teachers of The Modern School, ECNCR participated in the mega event –‘RYLA 2018’, organized by the Rotary Club of India at O.P Jindal University from December 21-December-23, 2018.
The Rotary Youth Leadership awards Event aimed at providing a unique and intensive leadership experience, while having fun and making connections.

The event took flight with the ice breaking session, followed by a scintillating cultural evening that marked the first day. The second day unfolded with the sports activities that were invigorating and energizing .They were followed by an enlightening session on ‘Entrepreneurship’, conducted by Mr. Ritesh Malik, CEO Innovs.
Dr. Angeli Qwatra gave a talk on ‘Preparedness for Safety and Emergency Management.’ Thereafter, Dr. Shaun spoke at length on the various career options available for the youth and the prospective universities for the same. The last session of the day was conducted by Dr. Tithi Bhatnagar on ‘Leadership and Positivity’.
The Modernites performed with zeal, alacrity and enthusiasm in the cultural programme organised in the evening, to give a platform to the young and budding artists.
The last day of the event commenced with a mini marathon followed by the flag hoisting ceremony.
Thereafter, the fine assemblage of participants was awarded with certificates and medals and the closing ceremony witnessed all of them bidding adieu to the venue and each other.
