On Monday, July 31, 2023, the students of Classes Nursery-KG participated in a stimulating role play activity centered around the theme of 'Fruits and Vegetables.' The objective of this exercise was to facilitate their cognitive and social development through a practical learning approach.

During the activity, the young learners set up their own vegetable and fruit market within the school premises. Each child brought a piece of fruit or a vegetable, creating a diverse and colorful display for the market. This encouraged them to identify different fruits and vegetables, enhancing their understanding of the topic.

The students eagerly embraced their roles as vegetable and fruit vendors and buyers, which allowed them to immerse themselves in the experience fully. As vendors, they honed their marketing skills by promoting the items they had brought. On the other hand, as buyers, they learned to make informed choices and use their proficiency in handling money to make transactions.
Engaging in pretend play enhanced their communication and negotiation skills, as they interacted with one another as customers and sellers.
