An Inter - house Rangoli making competition was organised for classes S1 to S3 in The Modern School, ECNCR on October 25 , 2019. The competition aimed at honing aesthetic skills, creativity and innovation of the young modernites.

Students from all the four houses participated earnestly and with enthusiasm . The theme of the competition was 'celebrations and festivals'. Rangoli making is an integral part of Indian tradition and culture. Beautiful rangolis adorn the Indian houses specially during festivals. The participants created innovative designs of Rangoli using waste material, grains, bamboos,diyas, flowers and sawdust apart from rangoli colours.

The colourful and vibrant rangolis presented a picture of festivity and gaity. Himalaya House bagged the first position in the event followed by Himachal House and Vindhyachal House respectively.
