World University of Design (WUD) organized the 'Prodigy- National Business Plan Competition 2019' in association with Startup India, the flagship scheme of the Government of India, to promote entrepreneurship. It aimed to stimulate young minds to think creatively and work towards innovative business ideas in the most promising segments such as Design & Technology, Sports as well as Food & agribusiness.

The team of The Modern School, ECNCR was shortlisted as one among the finalists on the basis of an innovative idea and creativity. The final round was conducted on 13th January 2020 at the WUD campus. Approximately 15 teams from different schools of Gurgaon, Faridabad, and Sonipat were shortlisted for the final round.

Each team was given 4 minutes to present their business idea, which was followed by a 2-minute question-answer session from the jury panel and audience. The idea presented by our team 'Trailblazers' was titled YOH being the abbreviation for YOUR OWN HOME aimed to deliver a home away from home at affordable rates along with widening horizons of hospitality and comfort. The team comprised of four students –Dhriti Garg (S6 C), Tanya Khanna (S6 C), Dyuthi Kathuria(S5 A) and Riddhi Aggarwal (S5 A). Our team was applauded for its presentation and the business idea.
