P4 Virtual Excursion to Wildlife Sanctuaries and National Parks

Virtual excursions allow learners to engage in a dynamic, interactive and guided way as well as assist students to learn outside their classrooms. Keeping the same view in mind, an educational Virtual Excursion to ‘Wildlife Sanctuaries and National Parks’ was organised for the students of P4 on November 25, 2021.

The aim of the excursion was to let children explore the world’s largest national park and Jurong Bird Park of Singapore. They also got a hand on experience of observing the birds and animals in their natural habitat. The students were acquainted with a lot of information about special species of animals and bird breeds.

They were also apprised about the various wildlife sanctuaries and national parks of our country like Kaziranga National Park, Periyar National Park, Jim Corbett and also Kanha National Park. 

The excursion served the purpose of helping the students to comprehend the wonders of different places. The videos aided in sparking interest as well as comprehending and nurturing their thinking skills. They were also shown videos of walk in aviaries and waterfall aviary. They learnedt how wildlife adds beauty to the nature and how important  it is to protect and preserve them. 

Overall, it was an enthralling experience for the young minds who are always eager to learn about the intriguing mysteries of the world and its famous places.
