Mythology Week (Nur-2)

Ramayana is not just a story, but also an educational medium to demonstrate the importance of values such as love, respect towards parents and family, keeping up promises, protecting the weak and so much more. In order to educate the little ones about this epic story and inculcate good values among our young modernites, the students of Classes Nur-P2  celebrated their Mythological Week from October 16-21,2023. A plethora of activities were conducted during the week for the little ones.

The week started by showing an animated movie based on Ramayana, followed by a short quiz based on the characters. Day 2 of the week included 'Ramayan Saar' in the form of poetry which enhanced the vocabulary and articulation skills of the students. The next day was devoted to ' Teachings of God' activity which was a great opportunity for the students to play the role of different characters and speak a few lines on their character. Adding an art integrated twist to the week, a  'Craft Activity' was conducted on day 4 of the week. Our little hands were indulged in making beautiful lanterns, torans and Ganpati craft, showcasing their creativity and imagination. The week culminated with a Special Assembly on Dussehra in which the entire story of Ramanaya was graciously enacted by the students in the form of a beautiful play. The assembly ended with the scene depicting Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana, thus leaving a message of 'Victory of Good over Evil'

It was indeed a great start to festivities and seeing the students perform so well, was a proud moment for all.
