The Modern School, ECNCR, hosted the much-anticipated Inter-School Cultural and Artistic Extravaganza, MODAYHEM, celebrating talent and creativity across multiple disciplines. With participation from over 15 schools and nearly 500 students, the event was a grand platform for young minds to express themselves across three exciting domains: Jhankaar, Shades of Life, and Nexus
Jhankaar showcased the artistic finesse of students in dance and music. Performances ranged from solo and group dances in Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Kathak, Bharatnatyam, and Odissi to soul-stirring vocal and instrumental music, including Hindustani classical, light vocal forms, and a rich blend of classical, semi-classical, western, and fusion genres.
Shades of Life, the art domain, explored diverse themes through different age groups: from circus and fantasy worlds to climate change and India’s rich history and culture, encouraging visual storytelling.
Nexus added a futuristic dimension with Robo Soccer and the Greenovation Challenge, fostering creativity in science and sustainability.
Eminent judges evaluated all performances, and a valedictory session concluded the event, where winners were honoured with merit certificates and trophies. Exceptional performances received the prestigious Jury’s Award certificate, marking a grand celebration of student talent and artistry.
Mr Rajeev K Srivastava extended heartfelt thanks and words of inspiration, making MODAYHEM a memorable success.
The event successfully culminated with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Jr. Head Girl , Araina Kaul.
