The students of classes Nursery and KG of The Modern School, ECNCR, in their endeavour to support Literacy, celebrated Literacy Day on September 7, 2018. The little ones indulged in ‘BOOK MARK ACTIVITY’ during the celebrations. The vivid and bright bookmarks were then fondly placed in their books.  A student of class KG also delivered a thought provoking talk on the topic in the assembly. The tiny tots took a pledge to spread the message ‘Educate Everyone’ at home and their neighbourhood as well. This was followed by a skit presentation by the students of class KG– ‘Learning & Reading is Fun’. The students also enlightened everyone with the importance of books in a child’s life. It was a visual bliss to witness the students perform confidently and learn the basic fundamental right of a citizen- ‘Right to Education’.
