Language Week Nur-P2
With an objective to highlight the significance of language in today’s world, Language week was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by the students of classes Nursery- P2 from February 21 to February 25,2022.
The exuberant young minds indulged in multifarious activities throughout the week wherein they listened to new words in both English and Hindi languages, comprehended their context, practised action words and also showcased their meaning through drawings.
They also thoroughly enjoyed story sessions through which they were introduced to the concepts of voice modulation and usage of props for making storytelling more effective. It proved to be an enriching experience for the students.
The sessions on 'Find me from a picture', 'Spellathon' and 'Picture reading activity' helped students in enhancing their vocabulary.
The students participated with fervour in 'Storytelling with props'
as they explained briefly the moral of the story after narrating it with aplomb and confidence using beautiful props.
The celebration culminated with a special assembly on the theme reiterated the significance of languages in our life.
