The students of Nursery-P2 of The Modern School ECNCR celebrated Janamashtmi on August 24, 2019, with great pomp and show.

The honourable heads of different institutions, Ms. Neeru Dhamija, Head Mistress, Maple Bear , Ms. Madhu Parashar, Headmistress, Nursery Play Way School, Ms. Reeva Arora, Principal, Little Hands School, Mr. Naveen Gupta, Director, Little Hands School, and Ms. Nalini Rajput, Headmistress, Modern Early Years, Deepali graced the occasion.

The fine assemblage of the proud parents was also present to witness the event. They were warmly welcomed by the Headmistress, Ms. Rimpy Verma, who in her address advised the parents to discuss the life of Krishna with their wards and tell them about the inspiring incidences of his life.

The auspicious lamp that marked the beginning of the celebrations was duly lit by the school Principal Ms. Abha Sadana, Headmistress Ms. Rimpy Verma and other revered guests.

Thereafter, students of class Nursery sang the bhajan-'Achutam Keshavam', a wonderful rendition defining the glory of Lord Krishna whereas classes KG, P1 and P2 showcased a captivating ballet, where they donned the roles of Lord Krishna, Gopikas and other characters related to the life of Krishna. The play depicted various scenes based on the diverse ' Leelas' of Sri Krishna.

The celebrations became profound with the colourful attires and beaming smiles of the tiny tots. It was a day full of fun and merriment.
