"Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life". Investiture Ceremony was held in The Modern School, ECNCR on October 24, 2019 to inculcate a sense of responsibility and commitment in students. The deserving young talents of the school were bestowed with responsibilities to lead their school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. A leadership camp was conducted to select the prefectorial board through various rounds like introduction, extempore, show your talent, team building activity followed by interviews.

The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion wherein all the young students are well prepared to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility while carrying it out with utmost dedication. The day was chosen to mark the beginning of the Centenary celebrations of Modern schools. The Chief guest for the occasion was Ms. Ketki Sood, President, Board of Trustees, Modern School. The event commenced with the Centenary flag hoisting followed by the school song and a magnificent classical dance performance. Thereafter the newly elected student council was presented the badges and invested with the responsibilities.

The young leaders pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution. The chief guest, Ms. Ketki Sood, President, Board of Trustees, Modern School addressed the gathering and motivated the students to carry the legacy of the school. The ceremony was concluded with a vote of thanks given by Dr. Madhvi Menon, Chairperson, management committee, The Modern School, ECNCR. It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being invested with great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.
