'The Art of an artist must be a continuous chain of little inventions'. The Modern School, ECNCR hosted an Inter- School Open Air Art Competition "Shades of Life on Canvas-2019" for classes P1-S7 on December 24, 2019 in the school premises. The aim of the competition was to provide a platform for the budding artists to bring out their latent creativity and showcase their talent.

12 schools of Delhi and NCR participated in the competition and were warmly welcomed by the school Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana. The participants gave vent to their imagination and aesthetic exploration, creating magical expressions on various topics like Rainy Day, Circus, Our Future World and Conservation of Natural Resources.

The students were judged by Mr. Sneh Basin, an eminent artist and Mrs. Renu Gupta, Center Head, DCA. The Headmistress, Ms. Rimpy Verma proposed a vote of thanks to the fine assembly of guests and participants. She highlighted the essence of the event and encouraged the young artists to participate in the event every year.
