On August 19, 2023, students of class S5 visited the Ancalima Lifesciences Ltd. facility in Sonipat, a renowned pharmaceutical company with a global presence.The company specializes in the production of life-saving drugs, vaccines, and innovative healthcare solutions.

The aim was to provide students with practical insights into the pharmaceutical industry be it 
the manufacturing process, understanding of quality control or research and development in the
pharmaceutical sector .

Students were divided into smaller groups and taken on a guided tour of the manufacturing facility by the representatives.During the tour, they observed various stages of the pharmaceutical production process, including mixing, granulation,tablet pressing, and packaging. Students had the opportunity to visit the quality control laboratory,where they witnessed the rigorous testing and analysis of pharmaceutical products. They were
introduced to scientists and researchers who explained ongoing projects and the significance of
discovering new drugs. The students' queries regarding career opportunities and the qualifications required for various roles in the pharmaceutical industry were answered readily.
It proved to be highly educational and an invaluable experience for the students. It provided them with real-world insights into the pharmaceutical industry and left them inspired and motivated to explore careers in science and pharmaceuticals.
