Independence Day Function of Class P5
‘Main Tiranga Hoon’ – Independence Day Celebration
Filling the air with the spirit of Main Tiranga Hoon — “I am the Tricolour” — The Modern School, ECNCR proudly commemorated the 78th year of India’s independence on August 8, 2025. The campus, adorned in the vibrant hues of saffron, white, and green, reflected the values our national flag embodies — courage, peace, and growth.
The celebration was graced by the presence of the Principal, Mr. Rajiv K. Shrivastava, and enthusiastic parents, whose encouragement added to the festive atmosphere.
Students of Class P5 presented a spectacular ballet, Main Tiranga Hoon, beautifully capturing the significance of the tricolour and its deep place in every Indian’s heart. Through graceful dance, expressive narration, and melodious singing, they brought alive the message that the Tiranga is not just a flag, but the living spirit of India — courage like saffron, truth like white, and hope like green. The performance reminded everyone that true freedom lies in preserving our values, respecting diversity, and staying connected to our roots, even in a rapidly modernising world.
Addressing the gathering, the Principal inspired students to uphold the ideals of equality and fraternity — values symbolised by the Tiranga — and extend these principles to protecting the environment. He also encouraged students to give their best in every opportunity that comes their way, keeping the spirit of the flag alive in their actions.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, leaving the audience with renewed pride and unity. The celebration of Main Tiranga Hoon not only honoured India’s hard-earned freedom but also strengthened the sense of identity, responsibility, and patriotism in every attendee.
