The spirit of patriotism and the fervour of independence filled the air at The Modern School, ECNCR to celebrate the 76th Independence Day of India. 
The school premises, adorned with tricolor decorations, echoed the proud colours of the Indian flag.

The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by the Chief Guest, Shri Shyam Lal Poonia, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Government of India
followed by the singing of the national anthem, which united the entire school community in a shared sense of pride and solidarity.

Students of classes P3 to S6 presented a magnificent patriotic dance ensemble 'Trivarn' on the sprawling grounds of the school.

The ballet ' Main Bharat Bol Raha Hun' performed by the students, portrayed how our motherland, though bound by the shackles of innumerable problems, is marching forward.
The amalgamation of beautiful dances, eloquent narration and melodious school choir spellbound the audience. 

 In his address, the chief guest praised the efforts of the school in organising such a grand and meaningful celebration. He encouraged the students to uphold the values which form the foundation of our great nation.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Ashok Pratap Singh , Mentor, Advisor, Former President , Board of Trustees, Modern School highlighted the importance of being free from fear as well as the significance of three C's i.e. confidence, creativity and compassion. 
Sir emphasised the fact that the children who are the leaders of tomorrow must strive to be a true human being to build the nation.
The Independence Day celebration truly reflected the essence of freedom and unity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
