The school celebrated the  Independence day of our country commemorating the completion of 75 years of independence with great zeal, patriotism and gaiety on August 6,2022.

The school Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana welcomed the august gathering of guests and parents reiterating the importance of such celebrations and the meaning of being responsible citizens in a free country. She also thanked the parents for their cooperation and support to the school.

Mr. Rajesh Garodia, Pro Vice –Chancellor, Ashoka University graced the occasion as the chief guest along with Mr. K.K. Agrawal, Mrs. Meera Malhotra, Coordinator of Managed Modern Schools, Mr. Aman Gupta, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya CRPF Group Centre, Khewra and Mrs. Swaraj Mehta.
The hoisting of the tricolour took place with the soulful singing of the national anthem.
The event commenced with lamp lighting and felicitation of the guests.
The ballet ' Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' urged the audience  
to remember the contributions of all unsung heroes of the freedom struggle and revisit the milestones in history.
The students mesmerised everyone with their power packed performances, eloquent dialogue delivery, synchronised dance steps and melodious renditions of patriotic songs.
They depicted the important events of freedom struggle magnificently along with beseeching one and all to value this hard-fought freedom, reinforce our commitment to our great country and  resolve collectively to shape the destiny of our motherland.
The Chief guest applauded the performances and congratulated all the participants for showcasing a spectacular show.
The hall reverberated with the spirit of patriotism, pride and love for one's country. 
The vote of thanks was proposed by the Headmistress, Ms. Rimpy Verma.
The celebration ended with a colourful and enthusiastic kite flying by students, parents and teachers.
