To meet all the extracurricular needs while assisting in the holistic development of a child,   the Hindustan times organised a workshop for students- HT genius highlights-  The Magazine Making Workshop, held at 1st Floor, HT House, KG Marg, CP, New Delhi-110001 on November 29, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. HT Genius Highlights helped build awareness amongst student editorial board on the merits of structural planning and design of their school magazine. The host elaborated on things to keep in mind while designing a magazine.

The workshop was hosted by Ms. Monica Gupta, an art director working with the Hindustan Times with an experience of 20+ years. She had worked with newspaper and magazines over the years and in her last big project, she was part of the team that redesigned Hindustan Times. 

Students from approximately 15 to 20 schools from Delhi   attended the workshop. The session commenced  with highlighting the transformation the  Hindustan Times over the years and the process. The information about how to pick the correct font, color, font size and also about margins waselabirated upon.

The workshop ended with students asking their doubts and questions about how to make their magazine better with corrections. It was indeed a very fruitful workshop as student editors got a lot to learn from the reputed organization to be better editors , planners and designers.
