Health and Fitness Week

Time and health are two precious assets that often go unnoticed until they are depleted, much like our environment. The students of Nursery to class 2, enthusiastically celebrated 'Health and Fitness Week' from April 15 to April 19, 2024. The week was packed with engaging and educational activities aimed at promoting health and fitness among our young learners.

 

Day 1 - Mindful Monday
The students enjoyed a nature walk, where they were encouraged to observe their surroundings with all their senses. They collected items like tree twigs, leaves, flowers, and observed birds while being guided by their teachers. The nature walk provided a peaceful and reflective experience for the children.

 

Day 2 - Tasty Tuesday
All the students participated in a fruit salad activity with their classmates, learning about the importance of incorporating fruits into their daily diet. Consuming a variety of nutritious fruits provides essential nutrients and antioxidants that contribute to overall health.

 

Day 3 - Wellness Wednesday
Outdoor physical activities help children develop strength, focus, self-esteem, and endurance, while also fostering social skills through teamwork. Our young learners engaged in various outdoor activities such as obstacle courses, physical training, and hula hoop passes, promoting physical well-being and teamwork.

 

Day 4 - Family Friday
The students gathered in the assembly hall for a special assembly on Health and Fitness. The assembly highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
