The morning assembly at The Modern School on September 29 was a special and solemn occasion as we gathered to commemorate the 154th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The aim of the assembly was to instill the values and principles of Gandhi ji among our students and remind them of the importance of truth, non-violence, and simplicity in today's world.

The assembly commenced with the prayer by the choir group of school followed by the singing of the national anthem, evoking a sense of patriotism among the students and staff. It was followed by news, thought and talk. The students emphasized Gandhi ji's life and his enduring legacy as a proponent of peace and humanity. The peaceful melodies of the bhajans helped create a contemplative atmosphere, reflecting Gandhi ji's emphasis on spirituality. The assembly  succeeded in imparting the values and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi to our students, reminding them of the importance of these principles in building a better society and a brighter future.
