The Graduation Ceremony of the first outgoing batch of class XII of The Modern School, ECNCR was held on February 11, 2020 in the school premises.

Students of class XI bid farewell to their seniors wishing them good luck for their future. The cultural program was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers and to reminisce joyous moments. The day was filled with mesmerizing dance performances, fun-filled games and a ramp walk . Suhird Singh Sidhu won the title of Mr.Modernite and Diya Jain bagged the title of Ms. Modernite.

The farewell ceremony was followed by the graduation ceremony attended by dignitaries, distinguished trustees as well as parents of students of class XII. The guests of the occasion were Mr. Ashok Pratap Singh, Senior trustee, Board of trustees, Modern School and Mr. Vineet Sareen, President, MSOSA.

The teachers, who once held their hands as friends, philosophers, and guides, passed on the light of knowledge in a diya lighting ritual to their beloved students who stood poised to embark on a new phase of life followed by a riveting and soulful rendition of the Ganesh Vandana.

The Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana in her address to the students and guided them to embrace three pillars of strength -belief, vision and courage for their new phase in life. Mr. Ashok Pratap Singh, Senior trustee, Board of trustees, Modern School urged the students to hold on to the core values of good behaviour, integrity and essence of feeling for themselves, their family, alma-mater and country.

Mr. Vineet Sareen, President, MSOSA congratulated the students on the completion of their schooling, wished them for a bright future and encouraged them to be active alumni. Priyansh Jain, Diya Jain and Somya Jain of class XII shared their thoughts and feelings about their journey in the school. The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Headmistress, Ms. Rimpy Verma.
