An educational excursion was organised for the students of class P5 to National Science Centre, Pragati Maidan on May 13, 2023.

The students first visited Elixir for Life-Water Gallery wherein they were made familiar with the importance of water and the numerous ways to conserve it judiciously. Thereafter, the students visited the next section based on Human Biology, wherein the teachers demonstrated through exhibits and explained them about human anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. 

In the Pre- Historic Life Gallery, students looked around with curiosity and wonder at the replica of the world that existed millions of years ago. They got an insight into the existence of prehistoric flora and fauna. 
Finally, the students visited the Fun Science Gallery which caught their attention instantly as it was based on the fundamentals of Science. They were delighted to see the mirror illusions. They also enjoyed watching Holo Show there.
The visit was successful in imparting scientific knowledge in an interesting manner and it acted as a catalyst in arousing curiosity in the young minds. 
It was a thrilling and motivating experience for the 67 students who were accompanied by their school teachers for the excursion.
