Doctors have always played a very important role in the development of the society.

Students of Himalaya House of classes Nur-S7 dedicated their virtual assemblies on July 1 and 2, 2021 to all the doctors who risk their lives to save everyone, on the special occasion of National Doctor's Day.

The importance of the day was highlighted through a PowerPoint Presentation shown to the students of the entire school. The inspiring video messages of Dr. Deepshikha Nayyar and Dr. Sachin Gupta , the two distinguished members of the parent fraternity of the school also outlined the key points of maintaining good health and keeping oneself well-protected during the pandemic. The students paid homage by showcasing spectacular cultural performances that accentuated the vital and most crucial role that doctors play in the lives of people.

The junior wing assembly culminated with "Thank You" card made by the students for their doctors as a token of gratitude. Dr. Satvinder Kapoor (Senior Consultant Paediatric at Max Hospital), yet another revered member of the parent fraternity was also interviewed by Aadya Khattar of class S3 B. During the interview she told the students to find positivity in the entire situation and emphasised on the need to follow covid protocol strictly. She also talked about the Covid appropriate behaviour that was expected to be followed by the students once the schools reopened.Through these assemblies, the exceptional commitment of doctors to keep the nation safe and healthy in the challenging times was applauded and celebrated.
