The students of classes Nur- P5 of The Modern School, ECNCR participated in Diya Decoration Activity held in their regular classes from Nov 2- Nov 6, 2020. This activity brought alive the spirit of festivity. Students were engaged in this activity and encouraged to use eco-friendly material to decorate their diyas, thaals and torans in the most innovative and exclusive manner. They, in particular, displayed their creativity by beautifully embellishing them with colours sparkles and mirrors.

Thereafter, they lit their diyas which symbolised the dissipation of darkness and negativity from their lives. The students pledged to celebrate green Diwali at their homes and not burst crackers. The Festival of Lights brought happiness joy and positivity in their lives, during the unprecedented times
