The 70th Anniversary of the adoption of our constitution was celebrated in The Modern School, ECNCR as the Constitution Day on November 26, 2019.

A special morning assembly was conducted on the significance of the Constitution Day as well as to reiterate the great work done by the revered members of the Constituent Assembly. The assembly commenced with the introduction of the most important members of the Constituent Assembly, whose immemorial sayings and quotes were delivered by the students of classes S1 and S2.

Thereafter, the guiding values mentioned in the Preamble were explained by the students of class S4. Ms. Manasvi (Social Science Teacher) administered the pledge of the Preamble to the Constitution at 11:00 a.m.

All the students and teachers reaffirmed their commitment to the Indian Constitution by taking the pledge. The Fundamental Right and Fundamental Duties mentioned in the Constitution were also presented by the students of classes S4-S6.

Mr.Suraj (Social Science Teacher) spoke about the importance of being a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic country and also conducted a quiz to assess the awareness of the students regarding the Constitution. The Principal, Mrs.Abha Sadana urged the students to abide by the constitution and feel proud to be a citizen of a great country
