‘While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about’.
Students of The Modern School, ECNCR celebrated Children's Day on November 18, 2019. The day marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru who once said "I may not have time for adults, but I have enough time for children".

The celebrations in the Nursery- KG wing began with a morning assembly, in which all the teachers sang songs with the tiny tots and danced with them. The culmination of the celebrations was the icing on the cake for the little ones, as they met the children of their didi's and bhaiyas working in the school. They gave them gifts as the token of their love towards them. All of them indulged in various fun filled activities.

The celebrations began with the prayer recital by the teachers in P1-P2, followed by the songs ‘ lakdhi ki kathi’ and ‘Nani teri morni’. The campus buzzed with excitement and joy. The Headmistress Ms. Rimpy Verma wished all the children and appreciated Aryahi Srivastava of P1 B, Vihaan Gupta of P1C and Kartavya Mehla of P1 C, who brought laurels to the school by bagging a Gold medal, Silver medal and Bronze medal in the ‘North Zone Qwan ki Do Championship’.

In classes P3-S7, to highlight the importance of the day an informative talk was delivered by Ms. Neelam Dawar and it was followed by the inspiring thought of the day presented by Mr. Mayank. The funny news that left everyone in fits of laughter was presented by Mr. Ashish.The Principal Ms. Abha Sadana wished all the students warmly and wholeheartedly.The day ended with the distribution of chocolates and gifts to the students as a token of love from the teachers.
