To encourage and inculcate scientific temper among its students The Modern School, ECNCR participated in the regional CBSE Science Exhibition held at DAV School, Sec-49, Gurugram, Haryana from Jan 30 to Jan 31, 2019. Ritesh Antil, Sparsh Gupta and Kirti Kumar Shyamsukha participated in the exhibition. Sparsh Gupta & Kirti Shyamsukha designed an automated surface eraser that was conceptualized as a classroom board eraser to help teachers rub the board in a faster and easier manner; Ritesh Antil prepared a bio-pesticide composed of Neem leaves, curd and other organic material aimed to provide a viable alternative to harmful pesticides.  Around 80 schools participated in this exhibition from various regions of Haryana & Delhi. It was a great exposure for the students. In the exhibition, the participating teams shared their creative ideas and solutions to everyday challenges through their innovative exhibits and presentations,supported by reports, display and research findings. Both the exhibits were well received by the judges and were appreciated for their uniqueness.
