The Modern School, ECNCR organized one o one career counseling session for the students who had opted for Psychometric assessment to make informed decisions about their career by ‘The Mind scan education’ company. Different time slots were allotted to all the parents, since this was mainly a detailed one personalized session, the resource persons eminent career counselors Mr. Mandeep Singh and Ms. Ishmeet initially started with explaining the parents about  parameters and the focus of the test report. Career Counselors guided class X students to further choose the stream based on their assessment report about their interest, aptitude and personality, which can help them to identify their subject choices with combinations of each course for future prospects. They reinforced the basic factors in choosing one’s career which employ aptitude, interest, ability and personality.

 The Career Counselors in addition to choosing one’s career, emphasised on selecting the right university for higher education is equally important. They discussed and guided the students that an ideal job is a combination of what they love, their potential and what pays well. They conducted the session very empathetically, understanding the students dreams and parents’ expectations to come on a mutual ground with each other to have a happy and successful life. They briefed them about their aptitude interest and potential and various leading universities and business schools and the need for preparatory programs.

The session concluded with the idea of the parents being partners in the decision making process.

The counselors made sure that every aspect of the test was understood, since the career decision would be purely based on the test parameters.
