A Career Counselling Orientation Session was organised for classes S4 to S7 on a virtual platform on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, in association with Mindler, a venture run by the alumni of Harvard, ISB, IIT, and the world’s leading psychometricians.

The speaker, Ms. Shilpa Singh highlighted the fact that choosing the right career option goes a long way to ensure success in life. She further explained that the traditional career options and the ones which were in demand ten years ago did not resonate with the present era.

It was emphasized that students must make informed decisions, keeping in mind not only their aptitude for a subject but also their hobbies and overall personality.

According to her, Mindler’s psychometric tests aimed at enabling the students to discover their unique potential, thus, guiding them by providing a comprehensive report and various career options available corresponding to it. Ms. Anchita Kapoor described the complete process i.e. about the psychometric tests, the report and the use of the career library.

Ms. Singh spoke at length regarding the integration of subjects required for being successful in the new era as well as about the 21st-century career options.

It was a great opportunity for the students to learn about the importance of making correct professional choices and guided them with their specific class takeaway viz Class 9 Subject and career exploration, Class 10 Subject, and stream finalization, Class 11 Career and domain finalization, Class 12 Career, college and exam selection.

The session was indeed a prolific one for the students to analyze their career options.
