With a plethora of career options available in contemporary times, the role of a career counseling session becomes indispensable. 
With this in mind, The Modern School ECNCR organised a session on Careers in Aviation on July 21, 2023 for the students of classes S4 to S7.
The aviation industry is a highly diverse field that offers a multitude of career opportunities, ranging from pilots and air traffic controllers to engineers and maintenance technicians.
The resource person for this session was Ms. Shilpi Gupta, country coordinator (India) and the head for Admission and Marketing for Overseas students at Sunrise Aviation Inc, Florida, USA. Ms. Gupta was the grooming head of the Spicejet airlines, and has a rich experience of about two decades in the field.
 The session was very informative and the students got to know about all the necessary degrees and courses required along with the amount of salary paid in the field of aviation. The students were made aware about the different fields in aviation. Although aviation is not a career path chosen by all, the students still enjoyed the session.
As the aviation industry continues to grow, so do the career options in the field. The session was a great opportunity for the students to know about the new and emerging careers in the field of aviation.
