Interact Club of The Modern School ECNCR, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Delhi Restoring Smiles in association with the Rotary Blood Bank, Delhi organised Blood Donation Camps - for the parents and staff on July 7 and July 21, 2018 respectively , in the school premises. The camp was organised for the parents who were enthusiastic and zealous to contribute for the noble cause. The school staff along with the members of the blood bank facilitated the entire process of blood donation. A motivational session for blood donation was taken in the school campus by Dr. Tejinder Singh on July 5, 2018, who made the tiny tots of classes P1- P3 understand the need for blood donation. She had an instant connect with the students and her enthusiasm was infectious.The camp witnessed many enthusiastic parents and staff. The students were the main driving force behind motivating their parents to donate blood. The noble initiative by the school helped in sowing the seed of humanity in the minds of the children, teaching them a very valuable lesson of Service above Self.
